Aschera Rose is a multifaceted dance and aerial professional with a rich background in performance, choreography, and instruction. Holding an M.A. in Psychology from Yorkville University, a B.A. in Recreation and Arts Administration from the University of Alberta, and a B.F.A. in Film and Video from the University of Regina, Aschera Rose combines academic insight with artistic expression. Certified in various fitness and dance disciplines—including Level 1 and 2 Aerial Silks certification, Can-Fit Pro Yoga and Personal Training, Stott Pilates, and RAMED Belly Dance Instruction— Aschera Rose has been an influential figure in the dance community since 1986. As the Artistic Director of Regina’s Zarifah Dance Troupe from 1999 to 2017, Aschera Rose organized and performed in numerous workshops and shows, showcasing expertise in styles ranging from Egyptian Oriental to modern burlesque. Her circus training includes extensive training in aerial silks and rope, some training in sling, hoop, poi and hula hooping. With a commitment to education, Aschera Rose has developed and taught a variety of classes, from beginner techniques to advanced choreography, emphasizing both technical proficiency and creative expression.
